About Me
I’m a wife, health and wellness coach, competitive weightlifter, and lover of travel and adventure. I haven’t always been this way. Who I am has evolved over time.
Back in 2010 I decided I need to make some changes. I thought I was doing ok but it occurred to me that I was just getting by. Before then I thought I was eating relatively healthy, and with a physically demanding job, I thought I was getting a fair amount of exercise. As time went by I had a measurable decline in my energy level; I didn’t feel well; and I really didn’t like what I was seeing in the mirror. I knew I had to do something.
I was introduced to a fitness boot camp and even though I lacked the energy to do it, I pushed through. With the added exercise and nutrition recommendations, within a short period of time I noticed my energy level increasing and my body measurements decreasing. In less than a year I was introduced to CrossFit and was hooked. I decided to study more about fitness and nutrition. What started as a personal journey has turned into a deep passion to help others.

What works for you? This is the question and journey I help my clients take. What works for one, may not work for another. There is no diet or fitness regiment that works for everyone. What is your goal? That is my first question to every client. Let me help you reach that goal.

An exploration of you!
“I started my year-long Precision Nutrition (PN) journey with Moira about a month after doing my first ever nutrition challenge at a gym. I wanted to learn more.
Moira would challenge me in our monthly sit downs to evaluate how I was feeling versus, “What have you been eating, Heather?!” She wanted to see me grow in my nutrition knowledge, but even more than that, she wanted to see me grow as a person. She would help me overcome obstacles, whether that was mental blockages or how to survive the holidays. She challenged me to set my intentions daily and look to work on myself in a culture that can often ask you to give more than you have. It was a year of exploring me and learning what I need to thrive.
So, PN is not another food challenge or nutrition thing. It is an exploration of you: how you function, what you need and in what ways you can obtain a higher quality of life. Plus, bonus! It’s all with a coach who cares and shares deeply.

Listening and building
I began training with Moira in October with a goal of gaining strength and losing some weight. Prior to seeking Moira’s guidance I had my own self-guided fitness regimen, but with very little knowledge or experience under my belt, I was falling short of my goals. Since the very beginning, Moira has been an invaluable asset to my fitness journey. Along with her databank of knowledge and experience, Moira does a great job of simply listening and building a unique training program based off my history and my individual needs going forward. Each session with Moira is appropriately challenging and incorporates just as much training as it does educating. Thanks to Moira I now value my time spent at the gym and I look forward to many more sessions to come.
